Delta Modulator Renal Denevration for Hypertension

During renal sympathetic denervation, a catheter is introduced using standard interventional technique via the femoral artery, and is positioned in the renal artery under fluoroscopic guidance.

Modulator Renal Denervation

The Modulator Renal Denervation catheter positions the electrodes to create 360-degree ablation and can treat kidney branches to maximize the possibility of complete denervation. It reaches a wide range of diameters (3-8 mm) of main arteries, branches and accessory vessels to treat a wide variety of patients. It treats the kidney branches where the nerves are close to the arterial lumen. It has a spiral electrode arrangement that cuts at the same time. Compatible with 6F guide catheters.

RENAL DENERVATION RF GENERATOR

The Modulator Renal Denervation generator works in conjunction with the Modulator Renal Denervation catheter to deliver controlled radio frequency (RF) energy during renal denervation. It provides precisely controlled RF energy according to a programmed algorithm. Allows selection of electrodes for therapy delivery. Independently evaluates temperature and impedance feedback for each electrode; The algorithm responds to ensure that the treatment is administered appropriately.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

The Modulator Renal Denervation catheter denervates the renal artery using radio frequency (RF) energy. Each catheter is guided  0.014" guidewire and advanced to the treatment site. The electrode at the distal end of the catheter transmits high radio frequency through the renal artery wall to cut or disrupt the surrounding renal sympathetic nerves lying in the vessel. Renal sympathetic denervation using a catheter-based technique is a new, effective treatment option for many patients with hypertension or "resistant hypertension" unresponsive to conventional medications. Configuration that automatically positions the electrodes (spiral) to create 360-degree ablation from the artery wall
