The Multibeam Vena cava filter is made of nitinol, a shape memory smart metal. It is 32mm in diameter. It has a double basket structure consisting of six diamond-shaped asymmetric arms. The filter is suitable for temporary use up to 14 (included) days. It is suitable for femoral side and jugular use as it is fixed to the conduction wire. While the filter can be easily used with a 6F catheter, a 10F - 12F catheter is sufficient for retrieval.
