Nod Catheter
The NOD Catheter is a device that interrupts venous valves during vascular procedures such as in situ peripheral bypass, non-reversed translocation bypass, and arterio-venous fistula creation. The 1.5 mm diameter and hydrophilic coating allow for easier insertion and improved traceability along the vessel in a more atraumatic manner. The 1.5 mm - 6.0 mm diameter blade spacing allows valve cutting on smaller diameter vessels while maintaining valve cutting capability in larger diameter vessels.
It uses unique self-sizing, self-centering pulleys for well-positioned, clean valve cuts, reduced wound necrosis and faster patient healing.
Usage Areas
Onsite Peripheral Bypass
Bypass with Non-Inverted Translocation
Coronary Artery Bypass
Arterio-venous Fistula Creation
With its special design prevents slipping into arm branches and intima damage
With sharp plastic cutting edge does not cause damage to the endothelium; the valve blades cut traumatically without tearing excellent handling and maneuverability therefore it does not press on the vessel wall
Highest possible safety for surgeons and patients
OTW system allows precise guidance of the valvulotome and minimizes the risk of injury to the treated area
Automatic self-sizing and self-centering technology due to an innovative basket geometry
Provides the best cut in addition to automatic adjustment to the vessel diamete.
Highly controllable catheter-based instrument for Vascular Surgery.
